The best way to reduce waste is to avoid creating it. Reduce the purchase of excess food and limited-use products and packaging.

Reuse products to avoid the resource consumption associated with creating and transporting new products.

Divert food waste from the landfill through food rescue, animal feed, composting, or anaerobic digestion.

Recycle products when you cannot reduce or reuse them..
