Recently Completed Playground Reconstruction Projects:

Bates Elementary School Playground

Bates Playground

The playground at Bates Elementary School was recently replaced in the Spring of 2025.   This vibrant play space features slides, climbing ropes, and stability equipment designed to engage and challenge children, especially grades K–2, but fun for all ages.

Upcoming Playground Reconstruction Projects:

Warren Park Playground

Warren Playground

The playground at Warren Park is scheduled to be replaced during the summer of 2025. In July, the Park and Tree Division plans to remove the old play structure and then the contractor hired to do the installation will prep the area, pour the rubberized surface, and install the structure.

Schofield Elementary School Playground

Schofield Rendering

The new playground installation at Schofield Elementary School is now planned for summer 2026. While the DPW was hopeful for an earlier completion, the contractor determined the original timeline wasn’t feasible. To ensure the best outcome, the project will be rebid, with a renewed goal of having the playground ready for students at the start of the 2026 school year.
